If I understand https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1831557#c18 well enough, and the bug it pointed to as a regressor, right now if a fatal Wayland error occurs Firefox just exists. The GTK developers want this to be treated like a crash so we can track when this happens and get actionable data. This needs some trickery to distinguish between normal logging and fatal errors.
