Maybe use a VPN or seup a proxy for Firefox?
Or try to block the origin of Firefox update (`aus5.mozilla.org`) locally by adding `127.0.0.1   aus5.mozilla.org` to your `/etc/hosts` file, but I don't recommend this way.
