Small correction here - what's most important is the URL of the page (as well as `referrer`) *where* the link was clicked. The link's `href` is useful, but of less importance when we have things like `type` and `label` as event fields.

Edit: When it comes to filtering URL information, my preference here would be to let sites do that themselves (in a responsible way), rather than making query parameters they do want to record difficult to get at. If Glean did filter or strip some URL information from these events, then I think providing sites with a way to include specific parameters that they do want to capture, will be really important.
