In other words: if you resize a Chrome window in order to give Gmail has about the same space as you gave to Firefox[1], can you reproduce the same issue there? [1] (note that you may need to test Chrome with a somewhat-skinnier window-size, as compared to Firefox, in order to achieve the same Gmail content-area-size -- since some of Firefox's window is devoted to the sidebar)
