Our current plans in this area are summarized in bug 1920237 (and [FFXP-3025](https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FFXP-3025)), which we have scheduled for work in H2 (and hopefully early in H2). Our hope is that at the conclusion of this work, the same scrolling physics will be shipping by default on the both Nightly and Release channels. (It will feel closer to the current msdPhysics.enabled=true than msdPhysics.enabled=false, though as outlined in bug 1920237 it be achieved using a simplified implementation approach with no actual Mass-Spring-Damper model involved.) We are not planning to propose any new options exposed in the UI at this time.
