Reproduced the initial issue on Firefox 146 on Windows 11, by translating a Portuguese text in about:translations. Verified as fixed using Firefox 173.0b3 on Windows 11, Ubuntu 24.04 and macOS 14 - red-squiggle underlines no longer appear under the text.
