Still have problem reproducing, following comment #31 and comment #23. As far as I can tell, the extension should only run on youtube and must not affect any other website. And the script doesn't seem to do anything special. When you try comment #23 again, can you also check what `about:processes` say? And when installing ViolentMonkey, you install it from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/violentmonkey/ and not from any third party source, right?
