Thanks Rares, yes I believe this issue: `If the user clicks the Search button while the intent is search it will clear the text without submitting the text.` was introduced by Bug 2022240.

It seems `If the User selects Search with google from the dropdown while the intent is also Search it will do nothing.` was a pre-existing bug but I can take a look as well
