(In reply to Rares Doghi, Desktop QA from comment #6) > This issue is verified as fixed in our latest Nightly build 154.0a1 (2026-06-28), however we are missing the context menus for them, not to mention there should be a separate option in Settings for them where the user can remove them from the page. > Theres a case where broken urls will make their way on that new tab page and there is no way for a user to get rid of them. Is this something that will be implemented with another bug ? Should the preferences from Settings affect Smart Window as well ? Thanks @rdoghi , this first iteration of bringing shortcuts in SW is minimal with no context menu. There is bug 2048434 created for Settings option but triaged not a blocker for initial launch. For broken Urls edge cases user can still remove (though not ideal) those from CW New Tab. I will NI product for the next steps at least the initial version TopSites settings stays separate for SW and CW

For now User can hide TopSites by flipping pref `browser.smartwindow.hideTopSites` For broken Urls edge cases user can still remove (though not ideal) those from CW New Tab.
