Unfortunately this bug was overlooked when duplicate bug 431076 was filed.
So although filed earlier, this bug is closed in favour of bug 431076 which has more progress and has been used as deduplication target for 7 other bugs already.

In addition, the hotkey suggestions in bug 431076 (cursor keys, `PGup`, `PGdwn`, etc.) have the advantage of being universally recognized whereas the letter hotkeys suggested here are language-dependent and equivocal (`n`, `p`, `f`, etc. could mean something else ...).
