But that's AFAIK not a Linux issue (the site is known to be slow on FF/Windows as well) and, most importantly, has nothing to do with the general slowness triggered by readbacks. I.E. that bug shouldn't block this one - just waiting for Jeff to move it to the correct component (I guess the FF WebGL implementation or spidermonkey).

P.S. to make it even more clear: the benchmark in this bug is not Chrome, but FF on Windows/MacOS.
