I tested this in prod using the following steps:

1.) On a Windows machine using Chrome, navigate to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
2.) Click "Download Firefox".

The file I received is the stub installer:

https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub&os=win&lang=en-US&attribution_code=c291cmNlPShub3Qgc2V0KSZtZWRpdW09KGRpcmVjdCkmY2FtcGFpZ249KG5vdCBzZXQpJmNvbnRlbnQ9KG5vdCBzZXQpJmV4cGVyaW1lbnQ9KG5vdCBzZXQpJnZhcmlhdGlvbj0obm90IHNldCkmdWE9Y2hyb21l&attribution_sig=5494b1f95b60046dfd7bef98bd7dc00dd9ecbbac1905f674f50aebae9d92e4d2

So, no major changes to your download mechanism here.

The only recent change I can think of that might be semi-related is we started serving Windows ARM64 / AArch64 users the ARM builds of Firefox. These users don't get a stub installer and instead get the full build:

https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest-ssl&os=win64-aarch64&lang=en-US

I wouldn't expect this to effect existing stub traffic though, since prior to this change those users weren't able to download Firefox at all. Instead, they we're told "Your system doesn't meet the requirements to run Firefox".
