# Data Review Form (to be filled by Data Stewards)

1) Is there or will there be **documentation** that describes the schema for the ultimate data set in a public, complete, and accurate way?

Yes, this is documented in the core-ping docs at https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/components/telemetry/data/core-ping.html and added in bug 1583525

2) Is there a control mechanism that allows the user to turn the data collection on and off?

Yes, Fennec telemetry is controlled by data settings

3) If the request is for permanent data collection, is there someone who will monitor the data over time?

These will become obsolete when Fenix replaces Fennec by Sept 2020

4) Using the **[category system of data types](https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Data_Collection)** on the Mozilla wiki, what collection type of data do the requested measurements fall under?

Type 2: ids of installed addons

5) Is the data collection request for default-on or default-off?

Firefox Health Report is default on

6) Does the instrumentation include the addition of **any *new* identifiers** (whether anonymous or otherwise; e.g., username, random IDs, etc. See the appendix for more details)?

This adds collection for addon ids installed by the user. This is also collected by Firefox Desktop in the the environment ping https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/components/telemetry/data/environment.html#addons

7) Is the data collection covered by the existing Firefox privacy notice?

Yes, these addon ids are being collected to determine which the most popular mobile addons are

8) Does there need to be a check-in in the future to determine whether to renew the data? (Yes/No)

No, Fennec will stop being supported at the end of ESR, and be replaced by Fenix. Data retention will match the Mobile retention policies.

9) Does the data collection use a third-party collection tool? **If yes, escalate to legal.**
