As of today I have 4481 .ics files (events) in my calendar :-)

I now recall how I know exactly how much items I have in my CalDAV calendar.

I use Cyberduck app (https://cyberduck.io/) to connect to the CalDAV calendar to list each event in the format of individual .ics files (it takes ~14 seconds) and in status bar it shows how many items are listed.

This app is also handy for troubleshooting purpose to load/open individual event in a text editor and check data or edit/save it manually in ical format, if needed be...

Just sharing if case it may be useful to someone else...

Cheers,
Richard
