From n.p.m.seamonkey:
Hi,

i'm using RH6.0 linux and downloaded M7 the other day.

It seemed to work alright, until i hit a frame-page.
2 frames (left,right) left frame is a nav/search-bar.
no j/js in it.
in its header it says <base target="right">.
the <a href> work fine, but using <form> failed entirly. all the
returning information hit the left frame leaving the right untouched.
i also tried NS 4.51 which works _fine_.

Today i sucked the
mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-M8-fullcircle.tar.gz
release but the result is the same.

is this a bug ?

thx for answers

Just checked in a fix.
Target Milestone: M9

Using the test case at the above URL, nothing happens using these builds:
1999072311 (M9 Necko, Windows NT 4 SP 5)
1999072608 (M9, Red Hat Linux 6.0)
Reopening and clearing resolution.

No need to reopen every form submission bug because the form can't submit, I'm
opening a new bug on this, as it is happening on lots and lots and lots of
forms! I betcha a dollar once this new bug is fixed, base targeting will work.

:)
See bug 10538
Clicking on the "Netcenter" link in this page also does nothing whereas it
worked fine yesterday. The frame to the right appears to not be repainted as it
should be.
