100661 - cannot compose a new message as new dialogue wont open

When trying to compose a new message, I get the cryptic error:
"An error occurred while creating a message compose window. Please try again."
"T"
with an OK button.
Attempts to rectify (Such as changing the theme, and removing the "no popups"
line in prefs.js) have been fruitless.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Mail component.
2. Click on either "New Msg" button or "File-> New Message"
3. Error occurs :o)

Actual Results:  Exclamation Dialogue Box comes up with:
"An error occurred while creating a message compose window. Please try again."
"T"
with OK at the bottom

Expected Results:  Opened a compose message screen :-)

I have recently upgraded to 0.9.4 and issues started there. A clean reinstall
may fix the problem.
