Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140506152807

Steps to reproduce:

I have the 'Leave messages on server' and 'Until I delete them' boxes checked in Server Settings, but messages still deleted from server.

Sea Monkey version: 2.26
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Actual results:

Messages removed from ISP mail server and now visible only in Sea Monkey

Expected results:

Messages should have been left on server.
Can we assume you use hotmail.com (aka live.com aka outlook.com) for mail?
It is a Verizon.net account.

> It is a Verizon.net account.

Do you access this account from any where else e.g. a webmail interface, or from another mail application e.g. Thunderbird, windows live mail?

NOT reproducible with installed unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.6 beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build 20201115220004 (My normal User Profile, Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit.

I checked one of ym email accounts (POP3) at All-Inkl with server preference "Leave on Server until I delete". Foundmore than 17000 emails via provider's WEB interface, oldest from January 2020.

An a test with above mentioned Version at least shows that the opposite works fine. After having changed server preference to (elete after 30 days" all older Messages became deleted.

So WFM!
