User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/35.0.1916.114 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the attached PDF in Firefox. (tried with versions 29, 30, 31) 2. Click the text "Click to view Manual" Actual results: Nothing Expected results: The text is a link. The link should be followed (to http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/). This works with Adobe Reader and in Apple Preview / Safari. The same issue is present in Chromium/Pdfium and it looks like they have a solution: https://code.google.com/p/pdfium/issues/detail?id=6

PDF is just have "http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manual/ http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/hitmanabsolution/latest/steam/manu..." in hidden text on top of graphics. PDF does not contain any instruction to make it as a link/annotation.

Apologies, I was not aware of how the PDF was constructed. However, despite not being explicitly marked as a link, it certainly appears as a link to users of other major PDF readers (Abode Reader, Safari, and now Chromium). I therefore suggest that there is a bug here, in that Firefox PDF viewer behaves differently.

Reproduced on latest Nightly 20140618030215 under Win 7 64-bit. The pdf has the same behavior on Chrome. Set as New.
