Details

It would be awesome if, in addition to being able to edit requests that occurred on a page, there was an option to create an entirely new request from the netmonitor. The request would not even necessarily relate to the current page. In a sense, it would be like the beginning of a very minimal REST client.

It could be an option located at the bottom right, next to the performance analysis button; an additional location would be when there are no requests logged, and alongside the other performance analysis button, would be this button. The interface could more or less be what the edit and resend interface looks like.
