Firefox 31.0a2 (2014-05-30) I wanted to use the Firefox OS Simulator to download, run, and rate some apps. 1. Open App Manager 2. Start Simulator, Firefox OS 1.2 3. Open Marketplace 4. Install CloseTheBox 5. Launch CloseTheBox 6. Click the rotate button of the simulator UI Expected Result: Screen rotates and triggers the right event for the app to work Actual Result: Simulator screen rotates, but the app doesn't seem to catch it and is broken
I think this is app-specific. Many apps don't respond well, if at all, to orientation changes. I don't think this is a bug.

There is still something about the simulator. The rotate button shouldn't actually rotate the app, but just fake a rotation. We used to better handle that over time, but we regress again.
