Mozilla Panamá community wants to have a website. We could host it in Mozilla Hispano, but we need to register the domain. Domain proposed is: mozillapanama.org or mozilla-panama.org
Valid bug, council approval needed.

We can push this to webops once approval is given :)

What state has this request?
ah!
Sorry, missed you out

Where should I point the domain?
well, I thought in the case of a Latin American community, was due to approve as a subdomain of mozilla-hispano.org
Have you checked that mozilla hispano can host you?
According to Guillermo Movia, Mozilla Hispano could host us but we only need a domain, so if it's posible we want to register mozillapanama.org (you can read the first message)
Hi @Tad Mozilla Hispano could host this website
:deimidis

So, what do you want to do with the DNS? I can move the nameservers, or we can create DNS records.
Hi @tad, I don't know. Nukeador is CCed here, he could have more information (but he's on vacation right now). I will add other Mozilla Hispano member
Hi, http://mozilla-costarica.org is hosted in Mozilla Hispano server.

You can copy the mozilla-costarica.org DNS configuraton.
Mozilla Hispano server IP is 37.59.0.116, just point root and www records there.

Then we would need Richard to contact tecnico at mozilla-hispano.org to set up the website.
Hi, Should I to contact someone to set up the website?
Richard, as I said on comment 16, please email the details to tecnico at mozilla-hispano.org and link to this bug.
Tom, I see the domains haven't been acquired yet, does IT need something more?

I just checked, the bug was simply dead, nobody had commented except adding a security group. I've bumped it and we'll see what happens

Done. Anything else needed from us in this ticket?
Nope, we'll set up the hosting at Mozilla Hispano server.

BTW, I don't know if we also should get mozilla-panama.org just in case.
I can't make the call on if we should do that.

Guillermo, would you like me to request mozilla-panama.org to be registered? Webops will decide if we should go for the registration.
I think is a great idea to request it too. Thanks!
Richard, Wordpress installation is done and login details sent to you inbox.
Well, Panama community is organizing ourselves to work on our blog, I think that We could close this bug
Was the mozilla-panama.org domain registered?
Access denied...
Tad, was the other domain acquired?

bumped that bug.

Can't be done. Anything else?
Tom, why can't be done?

We have been doing for other communities and Council approved it as usual.
Two domains isn't really needed. I left it up to webops to decide if they should register or not, they decided not to.

ReMo approval is more of a screening really :)
Tom, any updates here?
Flags: needinfo?(tom)
don't think anything else is needed. mozillapanama.org appears up from here.
