I thought this already happened, but apparently my memory is lying to me.

If there is no value for devtools.commands.dir, we should check for a directory in the profile named 'gcli-commands' (or something similar).
Triage. Filter on Lobster Thermidor.
Closing, we should probably remove the easy command feature rather than expand it.
