I find the output confusing because it's duplicated, and it's never what I actually want to happen, since my tests always fail deterministically.

This is a dupe of the "only running a single xpcshell test runs it twice" bug I reckon. Don't know the bug # offhand.

--sequential can help to simplify output when running more than one test at a time.
--verbose-if-fails provides verbose output when a test fails, even if it will be retried.
Neither of these quite addresses this bug, but might help.
