Security group: probably need help answering that one

hi david,

it's unusual to create a product with a single component.  each product carries overhead so unless there are compelling reasons we would recommend this would be created as a component within an existing product.

would this work as a component in the webmaker product, or any other existing product?

Hi Byron --

I appreciate the question.  Thought about a webmaker component, but this is mostly about fieldwork and will likely involve operator partners, and the set of people involved is not really that overlappy with the webmaker project team -- so these bugs shouldn't mess up their dashboards, they will likely not follow the same flow (these bugs will mostly be about coordination of tasks in the real world, not software bug mgmt).

Any suggestions given this extra background?

i think a component in the "mozilla.org" product could work.

mozilla.org looks fairly different in nature, and , and people who may be watching the whole product will likely be suprised by the bugs that will show up, but if you want, we can start there, and move the bugs to a different place if/when we end up with more components?
