Garvan implemented a B2G-specific strategy in bug 996998 and bkelly described another approach in bug 1026115 comment 4
Closing:
- jumping due to network geolocation getting a worse response is fixed
- jumping due to network geo overriding the GPS is fixed
- no further plans to filter GPS location based on accuracy and distance.
