Steps to reproduce:

Send email
Spell checker activates
No misspelling found ever - 


Actual results:

Spell checker comes up with no error despite there being some



Expected results:

Spell checker normally found errors then edit before send

Does the same happen with the current release (2.26.1) of SeaMonkey?

What is your setting for the Pref, mail.SpellCheckBeforeSend ?

Does the problem persist if you restart SeaMonkey in Safe Mode?

I have only recently updated to 2.21 - problem started immediately post that update.

It's set to check before send - it does but doesn't work any longer, it runs, shows dialogues box but no result, ever.

I have not tried safe mode

OK problem solved.  Updated deleted the preference and or old dictionary, downloaded new one, installed, all good again.  Apologies for the false flag.  Cheers!
