www.mozilla.org/mozillacareers

Redirect to:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/People/MozillaCareers?utm_medium=redirect&utm_source=mozillacareers-vanity

Any reason not to do this in the bedrock global.conf file that's in the repo that you control? CC'ing pmac?

Should probably look something like:

Redirect permanent /mozillacareers https://wiki.mozilla.org/People/MozillaCareers?utm_medium=redirect&utm_source=mozillacareers-vanity

Though I haven't tested it...

pmac: shall we just do this in bedrock even though the redirect is to a non-bedrock URL?

The pull request on github is nearly done and should be merged soon and pushed out to the website. When this bug is closed, the redirect should be live. See the conversation here on the code:

Is it possible to make the URL in lower case? It was my mistake making it
MozillaCareers instead of mozillacareers

This is the current URL

I need the new one to be -
https://wiki.mozilla.org/People/mozillacareers?utm_medium=redirect&utm_source=mozillacareers-vanity

Dakotta: you should also change the link to lowercase on the main people wiki https://wiki.mozilla.org/People. Uppercase, lowercase, or CamelCase would have all worked, but you just need to be consistent. Directories and pages on web servers are nearly always case sensitive.
