In our last maint work we learned that removing Graceful Restart (GR) causes BGP to restart. We removed GR from all the non-core network devices, but decided to delay removing it from border routers holding full routes and core switches until the TCW, as it will be a bit disruptive when all the BGP sessions restart on any one of these devices. Here's the list of devices from which we will delete GR: fw1.corp.console.scl3.mozilla.net fw1.corp.phx1.mozilla.net fw1.phx1.mozilla.net fw1.releng.scl3.mozilla.net fw1.scl3.mozilla.net fw1.svc.phx1.mozilla.net border1.console.pao1.mozilla.net border1.console.scl3.mozilla.net border1.console.sjc2.mozilla.net border1.phx1.mozilla.net border2.console.scl3.mozilla.net border2.phx1.mozilla.net core1.corp.console.scl3.mozilla.net core1.corp.phx1.mozilla.net core1.svc.phx1.mozilla.net

Time required: 45 minutes Impact: multiple brief disruptions as each device listed will clear all bgp sessions

work completed. We actually left GR configured on border1.sjc2, to be deleted another day, as the convergence time for this change is a killer.
