I was comparing a screenshot to a mock-up and it looks like the border we're using for the search suggestion/history cards is too thick. I think making it thinner would make the cards feel lighter.

I would agree. I was looking at that too .. if it helps, the border color value is #BFBFBF.

Yup, already using that color :)

Right now the border is 1dp, so I'm not sure if we can actually make it thinner. I can try setting it to 0.5dp, but I'm not sure how that will look on different devices.
