I have been missing emails regularly but I finally pinpointed one incident. The email's subject is "Firefox OS & Devices Team Update" from Faramarz Rashed sent to the b2g-internal list. I can see that email in Zimbra and not Gmail, which is a problem because I use my gmail account to read my moco email and this is quite disconcerning since I am probably missing important work email.
Actually looking casually in Zimbra, there is quite a few emails that were never forwarded to my gmail account. :(
GMail appears to be throttling us currently. The stuff you're missing is still in our outbound queue waiting to be delivered whenever they decide to start accepting it again.
As of a couple of hours ago I'm now receiving a flood of emails going back to a few days ago... Note that I changed my bugmail address to my gmail address yesterday in order to reduce the number of emails I receive on my moco account...
Summary: Zimbra doesn't forward some of my mail to gmail → Gmail throttling mail from mozilla.com
Note that at least 3 others that I know are also experiencing the same issue, including me.

Zimbra outbound queue, Bugzilla outbound queue, or both?

I'm seeing this from the zimbra outbound queue, bugzilla forwards to smtp.mozilla.org but I'm not seeing anything weird from there.
Unsure if it's related, but I'm seeing issues with receiving emails from Chromium's codereview system (codereview.chromium.org) which I assume goes through gmail. I have been in touch with the sysadmins at Google and they reckon the emails are being sent properly from their end, according to their server logs.

Ignore me, looks like it they changed some stuff with the CCs in codereview and it was being picked up by a filter I had set ages ago to autofile certain emails into a different folder. Oops!
They've been specifically throttling the Zimbra outbound IPs by the look of it. Probably because 90% of the mail getting to them going through there is forwarded and so it fails SPF and DKIM checks and so forth, which makes it look bad, so they're more throttle-happy when it gets busy. The stuff coming from bugzilla to gmail without getting forwarded would be original mail going from the original source so wouldn't look as bad.
