STR for Firefox:
1) Select text on a webpage
2) Choose the "Print" option from the menu panel. It opens up Print Preview.
3) Choose "Print…" from the Print Preview toolbar

Expected result:
"Selection" radio button is selectable

Actual result:
"Selection" radio button is disabled (greyed out)

Similar STR also applies to Thunderbird.

Since Firefox 29 removed the ability to get to the regular Print dialog (instead of Print Preview) from primary UI, this is now affecting most non-Mac users without the menubar showing.
Verified.

By going thru the Print Preview window before getting to the "native print dialog" box users are no longer able to print a selection of a web page; Preview shows the whole webpage, not their "selection" which is greyed out and can't be used.
Their only recourse is to use the keyboard command to initiate printing a "selection". {Ctrl + P} on Windows & Linux OS's or {Command + P} on MacOSX. From my experience very few users are even aware of {Ctrl + P}/ {Com + P} for initiating printing, much less use it on any regular basis.
