This should not be updated until the new Get Involved page launches. The current auto-responder is for the broad category of "Documentation and Writing", whereas the new text is for the very specific category "Technical documentation for developers". People who select "Documentation and Writing" are not necessarily interested in developer documentation, and should not get this more specific response.

Also, I thought the new autoresponders (linked to the new Get Involved page) were going to be sent via Exact Target, so the current sending mechanism would go away.

Jess: This should be the text for this particular welcome message I believe. Are you aware of this? How and where should requests of this nature be filed in future?

I'm WONTFIXing this since this is not a bedrock change, and thus is invalid. But if we have a good place in bugzilla to move it feel free to reopen and move.
