* As far as I can tell, you don't need to install ADB on Windows - it comes in the v123.zip package

* On Linux (and, I assume, MacOS), as well as ADB, you also need fastboot. On Ubuntu, that's in the android-tools-fastboot package. Without that, the flashing script won't work.
