Steps to reproduce:

I'm on latest Flame build of 2.0 from 09/23/2014 and I wanted to check my banking SMS, use web banking and:


Actual results:

there is no menu visible in setting and couple of send bank SMSs are not coming to the device at all.

Expected results:

I expect to see the STK menu, be able to use it and also see coming bank SMS to my device to be able to pay my bills...
It is very unfortunate to break whole STK business...

Which image are you using on your flame? Per bug 1033197, this STK missing issue is fixed Flame KK v165.

I do not know how to identify ICS/JB/KK (???), but:
I've applied latest base v123 on 19th September (linekd from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/Flame) and then nightly v 2.0 channel build with regular daily update and now I'm on build: 20140923000205 latest GIT commit 8d7f2ac8

Thanks, Marek. V123 STK not working is a known issue, and the fix is to update the base image. So I'll close this bug as duplicate of bug 1033197.

Per my understanding the latest base image isn't completely ready for public, but mozilla is already working on that. Once the new version is ready, the information will be updated on the MDN https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/Flame

If you still encounter the STK issue with new base image, please file a new bug. Thank you.

Hmm, I understand, but it had been working 14 days ago, but it stopped, that's what disturbing me. It is quite fundamental feature for me, so I hope new base image KK based will be made available soon enough...
