#1 - the errors issues are likely addressed in error patches still to land - so mostly the closing "x" misalignment with the text.

The UI that was commented on is no longer present, and was replaced by more explicit views which didn't have the bars with the 'x's on.

Hence we don't need to do anything here anymore.
