http://git.mozilla.org/?p=bugzilla/qa.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/master [github] mirror to http://bzr.mozilla.org/bugzilla/qa/4.4/trunk There is not currently a 'trunk' repo for the QA files on BZR so you may need to first create the repo, import the files from git/master and then set up the sync after. dkl

I know sod all about using bzr, so more detailed instructions would be helpful. I'd rather not break it while trying to set this up, and I don't seem to have my notes from setting up the original git mirrors.. :-(

As I was not involved in the gory backend details of this, maybe mcote knows the needed magic to make this work? dkl

First of all, shouldn't this go to bugzilla/qa/trunk, not bugzilla/qa/4.4/trunk? Second, do we really need this in bzr, since the tests run in travis? I can't remember why this was brought up. Third, if we do, we'd have to do a git->bzr export, which I haven't done before, but I can look into it.

Ah and I see the subject has the correct destination URL; looks like dkl just made a typo in comment #0.

(In reply to Mark Côté [:mcote] from comment #4) > Ah and I see the subject has the correct destination URL; looks like dkl > just made a typo in comment #0. Ugh Yeah bugzilla/qa/trunk is correct.

So why did we need this mirrored, since (I think) we decided that new versions wouldn't be available on bzr?

(In reply to Mark Côté [:mcote] from comment #6) > So why did we need this mirrored, since (I think) we decided that new > versions wouldn't be available on bzr? Cause LpSolit asked why it wasn't there along with the others so I didn't think it would be a huge undertaking just to add it to the sync list. If it is, and also we decided new version would not be made available anyways, then feel free to close this as wontfix. dkl

Consistency! I use bzr for Bugzilla itself, I use bzr for QA tests on existing branches, I would suddently need git to get QA tests for trunk?! Bugzilla is available from bzr, so should be QA tests too.

bzr WILL go away, so you WILL need to move to git anyways.

actually, I take that back. bzr MIGHT go on to live another life for bugzilla specifically, but bzr.m.o WILL go away.

I dont see the need to do this now as Travis/TaskCluster will continue to pull from Git and master (trunk) can be checked out from there locally. Closing WONTFIX. Also bzr.bugzilla.org is readonly and would require a developer to check in any changes to Git. dkl
