Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/35.0a1 ID:20141010014834 CSet: a13fbd93a869

How to reproduce:
-----------------
1. Menu Daily/Preferences
2. Tab Advanced/General
3. Click "Check Now..." button

What happens
------------
"Allow Spotlight to search messages" and "Always perform this check when starting Daily" appears both in pop-up dialog and Preference window.

What is expected
----------------
They should appear only in one of them.

Both redundant check-boxes are linked to the same preference. This could be verified by checking them on the pop-up and pressing "Cancel" button. When pop-up closes, preferences on main window will be updated accordingly.
Bug 467116 explicitly created the dialog box as an "Integration" settings one. That was the bug which duplicated the Spotlight checkbox location on box the System Integration dialog box and the Advanced pane.

Maybe the opinion of :bwinton (as I think he is an ui-reviewer) would clarify this.

Blake, should this bug be closed if that duplication is "by-design"? Thank you.

Yeah, this is semi-by-design. We want those to show up in the pop-up when Thunderbird starts, but we also want them to be a little more accessible in the Preferences. The duplication isn't ideal, but I think it's fine in this case. :)
