Anthony, is it possible to test enabling MSE on Firefox OS? If it is possible, how can I do it?

Blake - can you answer this question for Sotaro?

Hi Sotaro,
== Required Patches ==
With the latest code base (within this week), you will need to apply the patch attachment 8522693 [details] [diff] [review] and attachment 8523580 [details] [diff] [review] from bug 1036849.

== How to test it ==
1. Go to Youtube with browser
2. Change it to be desktop version via Youtube's setting.
3. Choose one clip to play(ex. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Du5fNU6uvwc)
4. Long press on video screen to select "nerds for statistics"
Check the 8th row to see if "DASH" is "yes" or not. If it is "yes", then MSE is running!

Thanks for the info:-) But applying the patches did not make Youtube enabling MES. A patch of Bug 1094061 was also necessary to enable MES on youtube. But video playback did not started. The youtube ui show just buffering state.

It looks like the same problem I hit last week. I just deleted the browser and tried again. Sometimes it could work.
We should be able to play YouTube on the mobile site by spoofing the UA string:

"Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.3; Nexus 7 Build/JSS15Q) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/29.0.1547.72 Safari/537.36"
