User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20141011015303

Steps to reproduce:

Opened Firefox.
Crash.
Crash.
Crash.

Actual results:

1. Flash hangs or crashes every time I start up Firefox (but I am apparently not allowed to report a bug in plugins...whatever).

2. In the crash report sent tonight from Firefox it lists the wrong version of Flash (plugin Shockwave Flash Version:15.0.0.152 Filename:NPSWF32_15_0_0_152.dll). I upgraded Flash to NPSWF32_15_0_0_189.dll on Oct. 15th, 2 days ago...so where is this information coming from?

I have verified several different ways that the current version (of Flash x.189) IS installed, and Firefox IS seeing it. All except for when it sends a crash report, then it reports x.152.

I've run a search and the old version (x.152) is nowhere on my computer. pluginreg.dat reports the correct installed version, about:plugins shows the correct installed version, and this is the ONLY version in the Firefox/plugins folder or the the System32/Macromedia/Flash folder.

So why would Firefox be thinking it is?

Expected results:

No crashes. And when it does crash, Firefox should be reporting the correct installed version of Flash.

Btw, none of the versions in the dropdown to the right of plugins (at the top) correspond to either the version of Flash of Firefox, so I'm not sure what information you're expecting there.
