1086946 - Can't install app on OS/X w/ nightly (2014-10-21)

[Hal Wine [:hwine] use NI!]

After clicking "free", button displays "doing something circle", but never switches to "install".

At least once, I've had a failure message pop up from bottom middle of window saying something similar to "you appear to be offline, try again later". Firefox itself does not think it is offline. Marketplace.f.o appears online per browsing and status.m.c

Forgot to say I experienced this on two different apps:
 - Firekey (the one I wanted)
 - Dailymotion (promoted on front page, so I assume solid)

Yes, and it's still that way with https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-beta/rev/5fd04156c1db

Note: I have now upgraded to Yosemite. Prior event occurred on Mavericks.

My bad -- ignore comment 3 -- I confused this bug with the corrupt package issue (bug 1086953)

Let me recheck this issue with a current nightly

Okay, now in nightly 36.0a1 (2014-10-28):
 - this happens with every app
 - I have my "show" filter set to just "Desktop Apps"

Still this issue occurs and Not able to install apps from marketplace .
browser : Nightly 37.0a1 (2015-01-11)
OS: Windows 8.1 

On clicking "free" button to install apps from marketplace,

1.loading symbol is displayed continuously
2.For some apps error message displayed as “Sorry .We had trouble fetching this apps data” (eg:soundcloud)
3.For some apps, error displayed as “APP install error” (eg:twitter)
Please find the screens attached.

ssaranya88's update shows this is happening on the dev site. Krupa to determine if this is a current/endemic issue.
