After upgrading to Firefox 33 Flash movies are no longer displayed. At the place, where the movie used to be, I only see "white space".

I've asked on the mailing list for my distribution (Arch Linux) and at least one more person can verify the problem. It somehow seems to depend on the GPU. The other person, who verified the problem, also uses a laptop with Intel GPU.

As soon as I downgraded to Firefox 32.0.3 my Flash movies immediately worked again, so something has changed with the switch to Firefox 33 which influences NPAPI plugins.
I also have the same issues with Firefox 33 what have changed?

I'm using Intel HD Graphics 4000 on my i7 3610QM processor on my laptop. It also does not work when I switched my secondary graphics card , whic is Nvidia GeForce 650M.

I'm adding the system info here.

As you are Arch Linux user, too, I guess we had the same issue.

I reported this problem in the Arch Linux bugtracker after trying an official Mozilla build, which worked well.

Firefox was compiled against system cairo which caused problems with Flash. The Arch Linux packagers switched back to the builtin cairo and now everything works again.
