Using a table layout with two columns and two rows in the right column, styles on block-level items in the single left column are lost. I've reproduced it in Mozilla 0.9.5 on windows 2000 and OSX as well as Netscape 6.2 on windows 2000.
http://www.centtel.com/hoyt/test2.html is exactly the same file with the xhtml doctype removed. It works. By the way this page is valid xhtml.

I don't see any differences between http://www.centtel.com/hoyt/test.html and
http://www.centtel.com/hoyt/test2.html . Where in the pages are the differences
I should be looking for?
Sorry, try test2.html again.
The only difference I see between the two pages is that in quirks mode we have
no top margin on the first <p> in a table cell. Otherwise the two pages look
completely identical.

Philip, that is precisely what I am _not_ seeing. I do see the bug in a build
from Oct 22, but not in builds from Oct 23 and thereafter. I've looked through
that day's checkins, but none jump out at me as something that would have fixed
this, so I can't really mark it duplicate. :) It definitely worksforme,
though. Could you possibly try a newer build?
Yeah, it looks okay in the latest build.
