"Clear Recent History" spams my terminal with 163 copies of the message "RemoveFilesRecursively: unlink dir: Directory not empty"

Details

STR:
 1. Start Firefox with a fresh profile, in an empty folder, like so:
      mkdir /tmp/foo; firefox -profile /tmp/foo -no-remote

 2. Perform a "Clear Recent History" (via Ctrl + Shift + Del, or hamburger menu's optional "Forget" button)

 3. Look at your terminal from step 1.

ACTUAL RESULTS: My terminal gets spammed with 163 copies of this line:
> RemoveFilesRecursively: unlink dir: Directory not empty
