+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #900992 +++

The version of South we're using is 0.7.5. We should update to 1.0. This will bring Django 1.7 compatibility, and will also allow us to upgrade django-rest-framework to 2.4.x, which has a lot of nice things in it.

Input is doing this. We should wait to see how that goes in case there are any big scary monsters lurking in the update.
We dumped South, so we can nix this.

I'm going to assume we did the upgrade and just didn't do the bookkeeping, so marking as FIXED.
