Apparently the only place we had testing for Direct2D 1.1 was on the 32-bit Win8 testers. Since we moved everything to 64-bit testing in bug 1080134, we lost some test coverage.

The graphics team would like to be able to run 32-bit win8 tests on Try and as well have them run periodically, e.g. on nightly builds.
Why 64-bit Win8 doesn't run Direct2D 1.1 tests?
