When using the engineering build, using latest trunk build on the Flame device, I cannot use Marketplace Dev or Stage to install apps. I get these errors: "App name" download stopped App install error INVALID_SIGNATURE

Also, on b2g desktop. The Dev and Stage Marketplace apps are called "Dev" and "Stage", but on the Flame device, they are called "Marketplace". So there are 3 apps called "Marketplace" listed on the homescreen.

Krupa, Martijn is trying to find out why Dev is not installing apps but production is. Any ideas?

Dev needs certs to install packaged apps. You have to enable Settings -> Developer and enable the checkbox 'Use Marketplace reviewer certs'. On nightly that should allow you to install packaged apps on dev.

Ok, I can install ConnectA2, using the Stage Marketplace app, but not using Dev Marketplace app. See video: http://youtu.be/FZJc96_PChI Did you try on Dev or Stage (or both)? Sorry to keep bugging you on this, but it just isn't working for me :( This is on the latest 2.2 (trunk): (gaia-py-latest)mwargers:gaia-ui-tests mwargers$ mozversion 0:00.32 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO Unable to find system/sources.xml 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO application_buildid: 20141124040203 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO application_changeset: 8c02f3280d0c 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO application_display_name: B2G 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO application_name: B2G 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO application_repository: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO application_version: 36.0a1 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO device_firmware_date: 1413454754 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO device_firmware_version_base: L1TC00011880 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO device_firmware_version_incremental: 39 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO device_firmware_version_release: 4.4.2 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO device_id: flame 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO gaia_changeset: c5bad6d78c5fe168e3bb894fc5cb70902c9b19b1 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO gaia_date: 1416598861 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO platform_buildid: 20141124040203 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO platform_changeset: 8c02f3280d0c 0:01.59 LOG: MainThread mozversion INFO platform_repository: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central

Ok, Fernando figured it out for me. It turns out I also need to set the dom.mozApps.signed_apps_installable_from pref to include 'https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org'.
