1103955 - [e10s] View Image broken when e10s enabled and images disabled

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable e10s and disable images (permissions.default.image = 2).
2. Visit https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ (bug is not specific to this page, it happens on all pages)
3. Right-click the "Firefox for desktop" alt text and select "View Image" from the context menu.

Non-e10s behaviour:
Page replaced with image.

e10s behaviour:
Nothing changes visually but the page no longer responds to clicks (left or right) until you press back.

Notes:
You can also middle-click "View Image", in a non-e10s window this opens the image in a new tab, in e10s this opens a blank tab (which also does not respond to right-clicks).

It sounds to me like the non-e10s behaviour is a bug. If you disable images, why do you expect "view image" to work?

Although I called it "Disable Images" above, really it's "Prevent sites loading images by default" (I believe the UI pref was called "Load Images Automatically"). When I use "View Image" I'm specifically overriding that to see this one image.

This behaviour is how Firefox and IE have always handled this (IE is even better because you can press "Show Image" and it will load it inline, that's bug 417545 for Firefox). Not tested in any other browsers but I can't believe they would prevent you from viewing images at all.

I confirm this issue is still reproducible on the latest Aurora 46.0a2. 
Images are not loaded at all when permissions.default.image is set to 2 and e10s is enabled.
Images are loading when e10s is disabled and permissions.default.image is set to 2.

Unable to reproduce. With images disabled, I am able to right click the image and select "Open image in new tab". The image loads successfully
