Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox. 


Actual results:

What's New page opens in first tab. Homepage opens in second.


Expected results:

After first review of What's New page, it should never come up again unless requested.

Can you provide your about:support information? ( Help > Troubleshooting information in the menus)

It sounds like Firefox isn't shutting down properly. Can you try restarting in safe mode ( https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode ), close firefox, and then reopen firefox normally, and seeing if that helps with it going away?
