From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112012 This seems to be a regression. When I load the above page, two of the images appear side-by-side and offset, and one only partially draws. Also, the text is misplaced. Clicking on the images doesn't work. Going to an image and then back to the page reloads it correctly. You can repeat (with sometimes different wrongness) by going back a page and then forward to this page again or shift-reloading. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit the above URL 2. Images should be straight down left side, but aren't

Confirmed on 2001112104, Win98SE. Doesn't seem to be limited to one OS or platform. The problem seems to only happen on the initial page load. The page is drawn correctly the next time the page is drawn. In addition to visiting another page and then coming back (as the reporter mentions), if you maximize, restore or resize the window, or reload the page displays correctly. I can reproduce the problem by clearing the memory cache and then reloading. I have attached screen shots of one instance of bad layout as well as the correct page layout. To get the correct layout, I simply hit the restore button on the title bar. The errors in the page are not always consistent, but the most common I see is shown in the attachment. Sometimes the image box overlaps text or horizontal lines.

Confirming there is a problem on this page. After page loads with images, move the scroll bar to the middle of page. Press the reload tollbar icon and watch the images reflow in the document. Portions of the several images paint over images and are partially drawn. Tested on Nov 26th build (2001-11-26-08) under Mac OS X and Windows ME.

confirming on win98 using build from 20011127: 1. size window so the top three images are displayed and the third image is about half way into view 2. select reload, the images get shuffled resizing the window a couple of times triggered the layout to render correctly. it is a very simple page: p, a and img elements

This now WFM on 2002040517-svg-mathml on win32. It's probably been fixed in the 2 months since it was opened. Anybody want to confirm and close?

I am the original poster, and it seems to work OK now.
Resolving as WFM per reporters comment. (WFM as well, current CVS, Linux)
