The hyphens page https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/hyphens#Languages_support_notes misses Austrian German languages/dictionaries like 'de-AT' or 'de-AT-1901'.

It does work flawlessly and I'd add it there, but I couldn't find the appropriate Firefox version number when it's support started.
de comprised all de-* case. I've added -* in the page to make this clear.

Thanks for your inputs!
In my opinion the current way of replacing the extended language subtags(1) with `*` is even more misleading than before.
First of all, I'm sure most people looking for specific subtags are machine-searching or scanning in developer documents for their specific subtag, for example `fr-CA`. Only the predominantly minority would search for `fr-*`.
Moreover, the information given is in many places just wrong, as there are no subtags for many of those, like for example Catalan or Esperanto and so on.(2)

If you think that German might get too many table rows with all the subtags possible, it'd probably be better to include just one row for German and add another column with all the supported subtags, like
`de`, `de-AT`, `de-CH`, `de-1901`, `de-*-1901`, `de-1996`, `de-*-1996`.

If you agree with my proposal, I'd alter the table correspondingly.

The question for the version number introducing `de-AT` remains unsolved or is it definitely Firefox 8.0 together with `de-DE`?

Refixed: taken from the source code. http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/modules/libpref/init/all.js

I added de-AT just for you, although it was unneeded (covered by de-*, like de-DE-Latn, a perfectly valid, but unusual locale)

I also took care of meta-languages like no and sh.
